For the 6th time in as many years, FuelCon AG has successfully presented its latest innovative products to an international audience within the “Hydrogen + Fuel Cells” group exhibition at the Hannover Messe recently held from April 16th to April 20th *.

This annual event brings together major players from the all key industrial sectors to participate and demonstrate the latest trends, the newest technologies and future product developments. With 64,000 exhibitors from 68 countries and more than 23,000 visitors, the Hannover Messe has underscored again its status as a global venue for innovation demonstration. One of the most popular sectors profiled in the “Energy” industry was the fuel cell technology group exhibition. In fact, the group exhibition “Hydrogen + Fuel Cells” achieved a new record of 134 exhibitors.

On the opening day, the Minister-President Prof. Dr. Böhmer, Federal State Saxony-Anhalt, and the Minister of Employment and Economic Affairs, Dr. Haseloff, visited FuelCon’s booth and met with the CEO, Mr Mathias Bode. Mr. Bode explained to the Ministers FuelCon’s range of products and the future plans of the company. On Friday, the Deputy Prime Minister of Lower Saxony, Mr. Hirche, who is also a member of the supervisory boards of Volkswagen AG and Deutsche Messe AG visited the group exhibition to see the latest developments in the field of fuel cells. His particular interest was the fact that FuelCon is a key supplier of test stations to Volkswagen AG.

Over the five days of the Hannover Messe FuelCon again distinguished itself as a leading supplier of high quality fuel cell test stations and equipment. Not only did FuelCon entertain numerous meetings with international business partners, but also an increasing number of visitors from other industrial sectors met with FuelCon underlying the growing interest in fuel cells and the company’s activities. Furthermore, based on the level of interest from qualified candidates, the company is becoming increasingly popular as an attractive employer for young professionals.

Due to the strong response based on the level of visitors, FuelCon has already made plans to attend the Hannover Messe 2008, which will take place from April 21st – 25th of next year.
