In an interview (http://www.fair-pr.com/hm03/forum/fuel-con.php) during the “Hydrogen and Fell Cell Show” at the Hannover fair 2003 FuelCon CEO Mathias Bode gave a statement about the state of the art and challenges for the future in fuel cell testing.

He declares standardization of test procedures to one of the most important necessity for the future. It will be unavoidable to follow the requirements of end-of-line testing, at which the customer will achieve in a short time with minimized test parameters only a good-bad decision.

For this a more extensive database is necessary by additional measuring information’s from present test rigs. As an example Bode named the impedance spectroscopy. FuelCon is prepared to meet these demands with the Evaluator®, a scalable line of standard fuel cell test stations. Because of their interface structure these systems may be provided very easy with additional measuring systems.

On the question after the safety of confidential customer information he answered: “FuelCon is an independent company. In contrast to all of our competitors we are only focused on developing and marketing of test solutions. Neither FuelCon , nor related companies have own fuel cell development programs.”
