FuelCon receives the Otto Award from Stadtwerke Magdeburg
GmbH
Today FuelCon received the prestigious Otto award for outstanding business
performance. The award was presented to FuelCon’s CEO,
Mathias Bode, by the board of directors’ representative, Helmut
Herdt, of the Stadtwerke Magdeburg GmbH (SWM), a utility company. This
award
recognizes FuelCon’s growth and performance as a global leader
in the supply of test systems to the fuel cell industry.
FuelCon was selected for the award over 27 other companies
who were considered. The presentation of the award was made in the presence
of the lord mayor
of the district capital Magdeburg, Dr.Lutz Trümper. The award honours
unique and innovative business models which contributed to exceptional
business performance and growth. The name of the award is a dedication
to Otto von Guericke (1602-1686), the famous scientist, inventor and
mayor of the city of Magdeburg.
